A Higher Vision of Teaching, Thinking and Learning

I teach in a really small school system in metro Atlanta. We have had three high school students die in the last two months.
I wonder when all of us "advocates" will agree that 'enough is enough' and tackle the issues that are killing our children. I can't begin to imagine what those of you in large systems go through.
If we are to educate for greatness, then perhaps we need to start with ourselves. Do I have any great ideas to put forth - No - but perhaps if all of us put our creative minds together, something great will happen.
