I am at West Nottingham Academy in Maryland, a 9-12 boarding school. I was not at NAIS, sadly, but have been doing a lot of research in the educational field as I work on my MBA. I used to work in a school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and it has really lit a fire for me to become an agent of change. I want to make the schools that I work in (or someday lead), places that are empowering, flexible, and vibrant for faculty, staff and families. This topic hits close to home with my current career path, and I hope my growth in the program will be reflected in my next assignment.
Jamie-
Love the article in the new NAIS magazine. I am doing my Executive MBA with Loyola College, and leadership for change was our first module. This piece is DIRECTLY at the heart of what we learned through so many great resources (including "5 Dysfunctions of a Team"), and really puts a stamp on what we need to do to reform our schools...Thanks!
