Thanks for sharing your thoughts Deronn. We hope to ignite a national conversation on how to transform education and value childhood. There is a great deal of fear driving parents,educators and policy makers to create a narrow definition of success for our children. We need to remember that we adults are not good at everything. Education should bring our the best in our children.

Hello Ms. Vicki.. My question is who created this culture..Parents and the powers that be.. How do we change this?? What do we do about children that may not have that academic gift.. But are highly gifted in other areas.
I have three children that are extremely intelligent, and a 4th on the way. How do we bring back real learning.. One thought that always sticks in my mind is that true learning and education begins at home.. I don't know i'm just a mama that has made a few of my own observations, I don't have a lot of degrees and stuff; but i do know that all children should get or have access to is a proper learning experience in school.
